For those who would like to give the pottery wheel a try, whether it is for the first time, need a

refresher, or just cross it off your bucket list. This is a one-time class designed to give you a feel

for the potter’s wheel and clay. Clay, glaze and firing included. Please read the description

below for details

Pottery Classes

Classes must be paid in full when scheduled.

Any rescheduling must be made 24 hours before the class date.

Throwing Class

Time: 2 to 3 hours

In this One-Time one on one pottery class, you will learn the basics of throwing on the pottery wheel, The lesson will be 2 to 3 hrs. long depending on how quickly you catch on. During the class, we will demonstrate on the wheel and will assist you throwing during the session.

All tools and materials needed to make your project will be available. You will create 3 pieces and can select one of your pieces to paint/glaze. Additional pieces kept are $5 each. Completed work takes at least

two weeks to process before you can pick it up.

If you are from out of town and would like us to ship your piece, we can also arrange shipping for a fee.


Hand building class

Time 2 to 3 hours

In this One-Time one on one class, you will learn the basics of Hand building. Our lesson will help you to build a project with clay. the instructor starts by showing basic techniques and gives appropriate tools and clay to complete your project.

In very rare cases sometimes accidents happen in the kiln and if your pot does not survive, we have some of our own custom-made pots to give you in exchange of your loss.

No refunds or credits for loss of your pottery.
